The Libby Center is in an era of transition with growth and lots of exciting changes. PTG provides parents an opportunity to positively influence the culture at Libby and we need compassionate leadership to help guide that influence. There are always parents whose students are graduating and we need YOU to fill all those vacant positions. We need YOU to step up and step into these roles! PTG needs new board and chair members and more members to carry forth its mission . If YOU do not take action the PTG will be left with a skeleton crew next year and it will not be as effective as it should be. Nominations will be at the next meeting on Wednesday, April 19th at 6 p.m. Inquire about nomination today! President-Elect - open Volunteer as a Nominee Today! Hello Odyssey Families, The time has come for the final bake sale of the year and sadly, both mine and Madilyn's last bake sale at Odyssey! My how time fly's! The bake sale will take place on March 23rd on the same night as the All Strings concert. We will begin the sale at 5pm so there will be time to peruse the goodies both before and after our talented students play. As always, we would love to see your best creations. You can wrap your baked goods in individual packages or as a whole. Please feel free to get as fancy as you like! Everyone always does such an amazing job with their decorations! The sale is again open to all ideas, please feel free to donate jams, jellies and crafts as well. If your baked goods contain nuts please be sure to mark it on the package(s) so that we can be cautious of any allergies. We also love to have gluten free options. If you plan to make a gluten free item please mark those as well so we can get them on the appropriate table. All baked goods or crafts should be dropped off in the office on the morning of March 23rd preferably no later then 9:30am so that they can be priced and sorted. There will be carts in the office for you to set all goodies on. There will not be a limit on how many bakers we will accept, the more baked goods/crafts donated the more money we raise for our great school! If baking is not your thing, don't worry we always need volunteers to work during the sale or to tear down at the end. I will be making baskets again for raffle. Since this winter has been so long, the 1st basket will be themed "Summer Fun!" The 2nd basket will be themed "Happy Camper!" If you are interested in donating anything to either basket that would be fantastic! I will be looking to use things like small water toys or floaties, sunscreen, bug spray, roasting sticks, etc. Anything that you think would be a great addition to these fun themes. I will be putting the baskets together before the day of the sale. If you plan to donate to these, please drop off your donation to Debbie Donahue in the office and I will pick up all basket related items no later then end of school day March 22nd. Thank you for participating in this fun event! Your help and hard work is always appreciated. If you have any questions please feel free to email me anytime. We look forward to seeing you all there! |
