The new Libby Chess Team brought home a 1st place win in their first tournament of the season. Varun Ambalavanan and Liam Reeves both earned a perfect score and won 1st and 2nd place overall finishes in the K-5 division. Seth Vandergriend won 1st place for the 5th grade. The Libby Chess Club welcomes new players of all levels. Club will meet on Fridays after school at Libby starting in January. See attached flyer at the end of this newsletter for more details.
