Family Pizza Night is an opportunity for parents to dine together (as Mike Cantlon likes to say), to celebrate the beginning of the school year, and to foster community among Libby families, staff and students. It is also a great opportunity to find out all about what Odyssey PTG, extracurricular activities, and Libby Exploratories have to offer.
While you dine, we will have a presentation about the PTG Play-a-Thon.
Please attend to find out what this year has coming up.
-Kevin Trim, Tennis Instructor, is looking to bring his Tennis club to the Libby Center. He will be set up in the gym for hands-on activities and answering questions about his program offerings.
-Do you have a student interested in playing competitive chess? The Inland Northwest Chess Academy will be present to discuss their program and scholarship options. Also PTG will be gauging interest for a less competative option.
-If you did not have a chance to meet Libby’s principal and principal assistant at back to school night, Dr. Debra Dewitt and Mr. Amend will be there to talk with parents.
- Please stop by the fundraiser table to see our upcoming fundraisers for the 2016-2017 school year. Information on the Fall play-a-thon, Spring Apex Fund Run and passive fundraising will be available.
-The PTG volunteer coordinator, Bree Hernandez, will have information on upcoming volunteer opportunities and open club coaching positions. A few clubs are currently missing head coaches and may not have a team this year, and other clubs need additional coaches.
-Math is Cool coaches will be present to answer questions regarding the program. 4th, 5th and 6th Grade teams need additional coaches due to a large turnout.
-And for the little, tired, and restless we will be showing the movie Inside Out upstairs.
Your PTG dollars reach every student in every class.
